First Post!!!!!

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to Exiled in Maine. Man, 5 words and I now have writers block, maybe this wasn't such a great idea after all. Just kidding. It was a wonderful day outside. We are enjoying our limited summer. The water is still way too cold to swim in, its around 56. Actually, the ocean never heats up for enough for this guy, however my son is like a Polar Bear I swear. His class is going to the beach tomorrow and I'm afraid he might run right in. I think my wife is going to chaperon the trip.
We are very fortunate to live in this community that is on the ocean. I never get tired of the smell of the ocean. Of course when its low tide, look out. Wheww! I am not the outdoorsy type even though I am 10 min from L.L Bean. I like some of there stuff, the boots and what not, but my camping days are over. Take a minute and read the "about me" section and you will understand why. I would take a day at the poker table in Vegas over some nature vacation any day of the week. The only exception would be Alaska, I gotta see that place. I just can't imagine how big it is.
